Entrance to the University may now be gained in the following two ways:— I—a1 —a Pupil who completes to the satisfaction of the Principal of an approved Secondary School a course of not fewer than four years may be accredited. Some Secondary Schools will demand five years' attendance. 2—Any Student over 16 years of age may Sit for the University Entrance Examination. No certificate of school attendance is necessary. The Examination consists of three University Entrance and two School Certificate subjects, with English (taken at either stage) as the only compulsory subject. Except for some Professional preliminaries, Mathematics, Science and Foreign Languages may be avoided. Candidates may choose from a list of over 30 subjects. The University Coaching College (founded 1912) Rives tuition in Day Classes.
