PRISONERS SHOT

American Reports Action By Germans

SIEGFRIED LINE INCIDENT

Rec. 12.30 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 27.

A story of Germans shooting American prisoners was told by an American, Sergeant Colella, to the Associated Press correspondent with the American troops on the Siegfried Line. Colella said he was with 30 American Corps personnel who, when caught in the battle for a small town, hid in a church. "We could hear the German tank commander stopping our trucks and ieeps and ordering the drivers and others out," he said. "Then we could hear shots. Next morning we saw the bodies of our men lying where they had been killed."
