YOUTH DROWNED
CAPSIZE OF BOAT WAIROA RIVER FATALITY P.A. NAPIER, this day. Alexander Ngare Edwards, aged 15, a student at St. Patrick's College, Silverstream, was drowned in the Wairoa River on Sunday evening when a boat of which he was one of six occupants capsized in mid-stream. Dragging operations have so far failed to locate his body.
