BLAKE. —On December 7, 1944, at his residence, 27, Paice Avenue, Dominion Road, Francis Jossph (Prank Boh), beloved husband of Clara. Amelia Blake; aged 67 years. R.I.P. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Telford Avenue, at 9 a.m. on Saturday, prior to interment at Walkumete Cemetery. BOWES.—On December 7. 1944. at Auckland Hospital, Joseph Thomas, of 32, West Street, Newton, beloved husband of the late Emma, and loved father of Captain Fred Bowee (overse&s) and brother of Lieutenant G. W. Bowes (Auckland), Marten Bowes (Wanganui). and loving father-in-law of Marjorie: aged 69 years. La.re member of Municipal and First Auckland Regimental Bands. A service will be held at Watney gibun and Son's Chapel, Khyber Pass, Newmarket, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, - the funeral then leaving for Walfcumete Cemetery. Late P. and T. employee. A brave and patient sufferer at rest. A service will be held at Watney Sibun and Sons' Chapel. Khyber Pass.
