Nazi Horror Camp In Poland
THE NAZI CAMP AT LUBLIN, POLAND, where thousands of men and women of all nationalities —Poles, Russians, Ukrainians and Jews were tortured and killed. Some died of starvation and disease, but the favourite method of killing was by gas, the bodies being cremated in the huge ovens seen in this picture. In the foreground is a heap of charred human bones, all that remained of the bodies of prisoners the Germans had burnt after torture. The trial of the perpetrators of this shocking crime
has opened in Lublin.
