Rec. 2 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 29. Complaints that the United States Army is coddling German war pusoners, are being made by the Paris Press, says the New York Post Paris correspondent. French journalists who visited two prison camps neai Paris were amazed to find that_Geiman prisoners get meat twice daily. The civilian ration is 31b of meat weekly—when there is meat. The prisoners get more bread than civilians. They were given such luxuries as coffee with milk, cocoa with sugar, but tor and other things which are only wistful memories to most Frenchmen. The .journalists said American officers insisted that they were only observing the Geneva Convention governing the treatment of war prisoners.
