BILLY PEACH'S SMART TRIAL Most of the training at EUerslie this morning was accomplished 011 the tan track, but a few horses were sent against the watch on the No. 2 grass, and Dinky Di impressed with a sparkling gallop over five furlongs in 1.1 3-5, the first two taking 24 l-os. He is in excellent condition and is to race at the Waipa meeting on December 16. The noing was fast. After covering three furlongs in 3G 3-ss, Billy Peach ran on very solidly to com plete six in 1.14 2-s—a first-rate trial. There was nothing between Ra Ora and Advance Eagle at the end of a half-mile in 50s: Victory Lass clocked 51 4-ss; Swift Tide and Tweedside ran three furlongs in 37 3-ss. and it took Charles Ronald and Bright Eagle 40s: Miss Titaness beat Stand Guard over five in 1.4. the last four in 51 2-ss, and Brief and Embassy were on term's In 1.3 3-5 and 51s. The sprinter Subadar was not ridden out while covering five furlongs in 1.3 3-5, the final three taking 38 4-ss. This four-year-old Bulandshar gelding is in good order and may race prominently during the holidays. Sir Dink was sent over a mile and a quarter on the sand, and he was indulged in a fast sprint home. He is an Improved horse and more solid looking than ever before. The apprentice R. Gibbs is going to the Rangitikei meeting to ride some members of H. Dulieu's team, including Sunblaze and Tideless.
