SWANSON SCHOOL FETE

Needs and trends of modern education were referred to by the Minister of Education, Mr. Mason, when he gave an address on Saturday afternoon at a fete held by the Swanson School Parent-Teachers Association. Mr. Mason congratulated the people of the district on helping themselves to secure a better environment for the children. As a result of the fete, which was organised by Mrs. H. Varney, £400 was raised for general school purposes.
