SALES OF ELECTRICITY
The gross sales of current for September, 1944, amounted to £34,699, compared with £33,212 for the corresponding month last year, stated a report presented to a meeting of the Waitemata Electric Power Board this afternoon. This represented an increase of £1486. The total gross sales for the six months ended September 30 amounted to £140,636, as against £133,297 for the corresponding period last year, an increase of £7339. New consumers for the month totalled 60, while there were 349 new consumers for the six months. The income and expenditure account for the same period showed a net profit of £11,132. J
