Three Important Targets In The South-west Pacific MacARTHURVS BOMBERS Rec. 2 p.m. SYDNEY, this day. Air attacks against three strategically important targets in the Southwest Pacific, are reported m General Mac Arthur's communique to-day. The objectives were airfields in the Southern Philippines, oil. refineries at Balik Papan, in Borneo,, and nickel works at Pomelaa, in the Celebes. Good results are claimed for all three attacks.
