GRAIN, SEED AND PRODUCE
The following is the official wholesale market report of the Auckland Grain, Seed and Produce Merchants' Association:— nrnmt Thp next shipment from Australia is now next month and will be distributed at the special cash-with-order prices for minimum 10-sack lots. Good stocks are he d in store, and are available at 7/4 to, 7/6 a bushel. Oats Stocks are very low. with nothing offering from the south. Rates are nominal only. Chaff.—Shipments are arriving from the south, with prices remaining at from £14 to £15 a ton. Maize.—Rates remain nominally from 7/8 to Barfey.— Merchants' stocks are small. Prices remain at from 6/2 to 6/5 a bushel for clipped, and 5/4 to 5/6 a bushel for undipped. Barleymeal.—Small stocks only are held, and prices remain at from £11 to £12 10/ a ton. StockmeaL—The first shipment has arrived from Australia, and is being distributed at the special ex ship price of £10 4/ a ton for ton lots. A further arrival is expected shortly which will be available at the same rate. Prices for ex stcre deliveries remain :it from £11 2/3 to £11 17/6 a ton.
