TROTTING CUP HORSES

Horses that may be seen out in the New Zealand Trotting Cup at Addington on November 4 include Bayard, Clockwork, Parshall, Coquette, Integrity, Shadow Maid, scr; Burt Scott. Gold Bar, Hardy Oak, Horsepower, Indian Clipper, Loyal Friend, 12yds; Countless, Bronze Eagle, 24yds; Loyal Rey, Pacing Power, 36yds; Haughty, 60yds. A possiblity is Cabin Boy if he can qualify. In some quarters Parshall is regarded as holding more than an outside chance in the Trotting Cup His sire, Ringtrue, is credited with getting stock that rank high as winners. Coal Light, the dam of Parshall, was got by Coal King (son of King Cole) from Archlight, by Electioneer—Archangel, by Vancleve. Last season Parshall won three times and finished in a place six times in 14 starts. He went 421 at Auckland.
