PARENTS AND TEACHERS

ASSOCIATION AT OTAHUHTJ At a well-attended meeting of parents held in the Otahuhu District School the question of the formation of a parentteacher association was fully discussed. Addresses were given by Mr. S. Hopkins, president of the Otahuhu Technical High School Association; Mr. A. Murdoch, headmaster, and Mr. H. F. Binsted, principal of the Manukau Intermediate School, and president of the Parent-Teacher Federation. Mr. Binsted delivered an interesting address on "Educational Problems." A decision to form an association was made unanimously, and a committee consisting of Messrs. L. Reid (interim chairman), L. Stewart and R. B. Thorne, and Mesdames Hancock and Woodcock, was appointed to draw up a draft constitution to be submitted to the next meeting of the new association.
