I HOME GUARD BEVOLVEB USED Rec. 10 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 29. A verdict of suicide while the balance of his mind was deranged was recorded at an inquest on a boy aged 10 at Farnborough, Hampshire. The coroner said it was the first case in his experience where a child so young had committed suicide. It was stated that the boy, after writing a farewell note, shot himself with a Home Guard's revolver, and he must have forced a locked drawer to obtain ammunition. The boy "a father said his son might have read reports of the suicide of a 14-year-old boy.
