HEAVY TURNOVER

Values were irregular in a heavy trading list on the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day. In line with weaker quotations, losses were recorded for NewZealand Insurances, Commercial Banks, Dominion Breweries and JlcKenzies. New Zealand Insurances were taken at £4 S/, a fall of 6/ on the cum dividend price in July. Improvement was shown by Electrolytic Zinc preferences, Keid Rubbers, Woolworths (Sydney) and Waiht Investments.
