18TH BATTALION REUNION
Fifteen members of the ISth Battalion, 2nd N.Z.E.F., at a meeting held last week decided to proceed with arrangements for the first reunion of former members of the battalion, and Saturday, October 7, was fixed as the date of the function, which will take the form of a smoke concert. It was decided that personnel of the battalion at any time, whether attached or otherwise, would be welcome, and the following committee was elected to finalise plans and to secure a venue for the reunion:—Messrs. Dunbar, chairman; Fitzgerald, honorary secretary and treasurer; Tronson, Brett, Stock, Beer, Taylor, Brogden, Webb, Halley. Exmembers of the battalion intending to be present are asked to contact the chairman. Rehabilitation Office, Auckland, or secretary, 357, Queen Street.
