RESISTANCE AT BREST
ALLIES FIGHT IN OUTSKIRTS Rec. 10.30 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 11. House-to-house fighting is in progress on the outskirts of Brest. The German commander at Lochrist has surrendered, but isolated enemy groups continue to resist in this area. Resistance also continues on the Crozon Peninsula, forming part of the southern shore of the Bay of Brest.
