OPERATIONS IN FLANDERS Rec. 1 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 10. German withdrawal operations in Flanders continue -with Allied units pressing the Germans hard, stated Berlin radio to-night. German rearguards south-east of Bruges screened the retreat of the main body of Germans. German units in Liege area were involved in bitter battles against far superior Allied forces, it was stated.
