Assets.—Government debt, £11,000,000; other Government securities, £1,188,400,000; other securities, £6,000,000; fiduciary issue, £1,200,000,000; gold coin arid bullion, £241,000, Banking Department Liabilities.—Capital, £14,500,000; rest. £3,400,000; public deposits, £ 9,300,000;' bankers! deposits, £171,800,000; other accounts, £58,900,000. Assets.—Government securities, £187,600,000; advances, etc., £4,000,000; other securities, £14,400,000; notes and coin, £51,900,000. Proportion of reserve to liabilities, 21.66 per cent; discount rate, 2 per cent, unchanged.
