SABOTAGE ACTS
NORTHERN ITALY
Partisans Executing Huns
As Reprisals
N.Z. Press Association—Copyright Rec. noon. LONDON. June 30. Italian Partisans in the Milan region executed 100 Germans as a reprisal for the execution of ten prominent Italian hostages, reports the British United Press Berne correspondent. Previously they told the German commander they were adopting the German custom of executing ten for one. The Times Rome correspondent says the Italian Government announces the Partisans have carried out several important acts of sabotage in Northern Italy. They overpowered the German guards and blew up the railway station and signalling plant at Greco, which is one of the biggest marshalling yards in the Milan area.
The Partisans wrecked the hydroelectric station providing power for the ball-bearing works at Villaperosa, in the mountains west of Turin.
