RETIRING CHAIRMAN

KOHIMARAMA PRESENTATION

The retiring chairman, Mr. J. C. Rowe. and members of the Kohimarama School Committee were entertained at a presentation and social evening at Mission Bay this week. Mr. Rowe, who had served on the committee for 15 years, the last 10 as chairman, was presented with a wristlet watch, by Mr. F. R. Morley, the new chairman, on behalf of the residents of the district. Mr. Morley, Mr. M. Priestley, representing the Education Board, and Mr. N. M. Carr, headmaster, | congratulated Mr. Rowe on his long ana valuable service to the school.
