EXTENSIVE PATROLS
AGAINST FIAIXG BOMBS British Official Wireless Rec. 2 p.m. RUGBY, June 20. Aircraft operating from Britain have maintained extensive patrols in the past 2-1 hours against flying bomb attacks on Southern England. The aircraft were engaged in many actions and a large number of flying bombs were destroyed. Antiaircraft gunners in some areas of Southern England were in action and had a number of successes. For the first time a flying bomb was destroyed by the* fire of the heavy guns of a mixed battery. A Bofors gun destroyed another flying bomb.
