Germans Use Strong Forces Against French MOUNTAIN ATTACK WITHSTOOD Rec. 11.30 a.m. LONDON, June 29. The Germans used bombers, fighters. 4in guns, and mortars in a big battle against the French forces in the interior in the central mountains in France, where the Partisans are estimated to number upwards of 20.000 states reports reaching London.
