AMERICAN BRIDES
We read with interest "Georgie's" letter re the forming of a club for American servicemen's wives and fiancees, and we think the idea would meet with the approval of all the girls who intend to go to the States. We all know how hard it is going to be to leave our homes in New Zealand to go to a strange country, and we think we should have the opportunity to learn about uie country, its people and its customs, etc. Most girls have a glamourised idea of the States, its big buildings, night clubs, and so on, while another group of us are not expecting anything dazzling. It would be a good idea for all girls who are States bound to learn all we can about our future homes OHIO and OKLAHOMA.
