Rec. 9.30 a.m. LONDON, June 29. Air Marshal Sir .Roderick Hill. Commander of the Air Defence of Great Britain, told airwomen of his command to-day that they would shortly be going to the Continent to serve with the Allied Expeditionary Air Force. The Queen, in a message to Lady Walsh, Director of the W.A.A.F., says: "Officers and airwomen alike have earned the gratitude of their comrades in the R.A.F., who have learned to rely upon them, and the admiration of all who have had the good fortune to become familiar with their high sense of duty and their cheerful efficiency."
