The Salween Front VICTORY FOR CHINESE Rec. 12.30. CHUNGKING, June 11. The Chinese have occupied Lungling, second most important Japanese base in Yunnan. The Chinese High Command communique decribes its capture as the greatest success so far in the Salween offensive.
