NO CHANGE AT WESTFIELD
No change in the situation on the beef slaughtering floor at the Westfield freezing works was reported this morning, the deadlock in negotiations between the management and the beef shacklers on the question of a wage increase continuing. Thirteen working days have now been lost by the shacklers and butchers employed on floor Other departments at the works are operating as usual.
