LAND SALES IN MAY
During last month 11G7 applications for consent to land sales were filed before the land sales committees in the Auckland area. From April 102S applications were brought forward, and during May 1232 applications were finalised. Of the number finalised 859 were granted without a hearing, and 217 after hearing. A total of 27 were refused, and 127 were granted subject to conditions, while 12 were withdrawn.
On the waiting list are 387 pending hearing for valuations, 336 have been set down for hearing and 131 are awaiting further information or have been adjourned at the request of the parties.
