WANGANUI SOAKED
WANGANUI, Monday. As a result of three days of almost continuous rain rivers and streams are swollen and some back-countrv roads are impassable. A succession of strong southerly to south-easterly winds has caused rough seas along the coast and shipping has been delayed by the rain.
