SIX RAIDERS DOWN

LONDON, May 23,

German raiders, mostly operating singly, were active over coastal districts of southern England last night.The German News Agency states that for 20 minutes last night German bombers in considerable strength made a concentrated attack on port installations and other military targets at Portsmouth.

It is now known that six raiders were destroyed in raids on Britain last night.
