When nominations closed yester-i day for the election of one member! of the Auckland GVammar School I Board to fill the seat made vacant by the retirement of Mr. C. R. Petrie, M.P., the nomination of Mr. F. Hackett, M.P. for Grey Lynn, was the only one received. Mr. Hackett will hold office for three years. Mr. Petrie had been one of the three representatives elected by members of the Legislative Council and the House of Representatives.
