BRITISH STRIKES
Rec. 11.30 a.m. LONDON, Mar. 29. Some 50,000 men and boys are now idle in Yorkshire coalfields and 20,000 Clydeside engineering apprentices struck to-day in support of the 5000 Tyneside apprentices who struck demanding unconditional exemption from the coalmine callup The Clydeside strikers represent SO per cent of the total apprentices in that area.
