RAILWAYS HARRIED
Activity Of Marshal Tito's Partisans NO NEWS OF MIHAILOVICH British Official Wireless Rec. 11.30 a.m. RUGBY, Mar. 14. In Slovenia heavy fighting continues, states a Yugoslav Partisans' communique. The Partisans derailed a train between Kranj and Skofja Loka, in the province of Banija. German troops who tried to penetrate the liberated territory from the direction of Dvor were compelled to' retreat towards Kostajnicka. Six German officers were killed and 12 wounded in Allied air raids against the island of Korcula. London observers note mat, although the Germans still control the main Ljubljana-Belgrade railway, Marshal Tito's forces are constantly harassing the other railways, particularly those crossing Slovenia from Austria to Italy. . No news has been received in London for a long time of-the activities of General Mihailovich's guerillas. Their strength is not more than 50,000 at the outside, and although the Allies maintain missions with both guerilla organisations the only reports of fighting are provided by Marshal Tito's, forces.
