BURSARY FOR SINGER

The Robert Parker Memorial Bursary, valued at £10 10/ annually for two vears, has been awarded this year to Miss Lorna Pile, of Dunedin, for singing. A number of applications were received by. the board, and four of them demanded close consideration, Miss Lorna Pile being unanimously selected as having the best qualifications. The bursary is offered by a private committee to commemorate the life and work of the late Mr. Robert Parker, C.M.G., and is administered by the Music Teachers' Registration Board.
