AUSTRALIAN PLANE CRASH Rec. 1 p.m. MELBOURNE, this day. Fourteen Australian and United States Service personnel escaped injury when a transport plane made a forced landing 90 miles from Melbourne. The wing tips of the plane were torn off when the pilot tried to steer past a taxi-ing plane between two tree stumps.
