Successes Reported From All Sectors JAP. PLANES DESTROYED British Official Wireless Rec. noon. RUGBY, Mar. 10. Forty-six enemy aeroplanes were destroyed when air attacks were made on Japanese aerodromes in central Burma in the last two days, states South-east Asia Headquai--ters. Great destruction was caused to installations and personnel and many large fires were left burning. In another series of raids on Wednesday night, yesterday and last night Allied bombers attacked Japanese concentrations at Magaung and Kamaing, northern Burma. Next day 100.0001b of bombs were dropped and that night more fires were started. Only one Allied aircraft is missing. East of the Mavu Range and north of Buthidaung, our troops occupied Japanese positions on the east bank of the Kalapangin River. American and Chinese troops continued their advances in their respective sectors, the Americans killing between 600 and 700 Japanese in north Burma to noon yesterday. Elements of the Chinese 22nd Division contacted the American infantry at Walabum and advanced on Changmai. The Chinese killed 450 of the enemy on Wednesday in the vicinity of the Mambyu River.
