GOLDEN WEDDING

Mr. and Mrs. Percy C. White, of 11, Main Road, Kohimarama, celebrated their golden wedding to-day, their seven children alt being present at •the gathering. Mr. and Mrs. White were married in Broken Hill in 1894 and came to New Zealand in 1896, when Mr. White joined the firm of S. White and Sons, of which he is still director. Mr. White was for many years one of the mainstays of Auckland's bowling attack in representative cricket, one of his best performances being six wickets for 28 runs against an M.C.C. team. Later he joined the St. Helier's Bay Bowling Club, of which he remains a popular member.
