COAL FOR WELLINGTON

WELLINGTON, Monday
A very serious position this morning at the Wellington Gas Company's works was relieved by coal deliveries later in the day, and more coal is expected to-morrow. The company, in a statement to-night, said there was still need for strict economy, as the deliveries were only small.
