OLD AND NEW
Will you please convey my congratulations, and those of several friends, to "Cyrano" for the interesting and beautifully written article entitled, "The Old World is Brave, Too." It is stirring in its sincerity! and if the so-called "new order can produce the courage and cultural standard that the Old World has set, then it will not go far wrong. I«je majority of people in this remote and blessed country have no idea what they owe in gratitude ana respect to the people of Britain, t am a New Zealander, one who has travelled twice around the world, and I am thrice proud of the race or people I beloing to. The traditions and ideals of our nation are wortn cherishing and worth while building on, not disposing of for Socialistic or any other soothing theories, while the young people tliH with their heritage, it is our job to keep tie values before them. A. C. WEBSTER.
