McLEOD. —On February 19, 1944, at Auckland Hospital, Gladys, dearly loved wife of Thomas McLeod. of Waihi. and loved mother of Thelma, Revel and Robert, and beloved daughter of the late Mrs. S. J. Littlewood, Taupiri; in her forty-seventh year. At rest. Funeral leaves Arthur Holmes and Sons* Parlours. Bryant, Mrs. R. Miller, of Hamilton. Mrs. G. O'Grady, Mrs. C. Ellery, Mrs. N. Brunton, of Auckland. At rest. MILLER.—On February 18, 1944, at the home of her daughter. Maria, beloved widow of John Young Miller, and loved mother of Freda (Mrs. J. H. Holt, Godley Road, Titirangi), Frank (Warkworth), Will (Ramarama), Doug (Mauku) and the late Ernest (Passchendaele, 1917); in her seventy-ninth year. Funeral will leave her daughter's residence, Godley Road. Titirangi, at 3.30 p.m. to-day (Saturday) for the Crematorium. MITCHELL.—On February 18, 1944, Jessa, beloved wife of Vincent Mitchell, and loved mother of Margaret and Hunter. Private interment from Parlour of Arthur Holmes and Sons on Monday. QU ED LEY*.—On February 17. 1944, at Auckland. William, lo.ther of Harold and Chrissie, and grandad et Noel (overseas). Ted and Doug. Peace, perfect peace. QUEDLEY, William.—Of 26, Wellpark Avenue, Grev Lynn, loved brother of Frank and the late Henry and Robert. Cremated this day.
