CHARITABLE BEQUESTS

A number of charitable bequests are provided for in the will of the late Gertrude Mary Simpson, spinster, of Auckland, who died on December 20. The bequests are: To the Auckland branch of the Plying Angel Mission to Seamen, £200; to the Auckland City Mission, £200; to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, £200; to St. Andrew's Anglican Church, £100; to St. Andrew's Women's Guild, £50to Our Dumb Friends' League, £100! The estate was proved for probate at not more than £5000. The residue, after many private bequests are provided for, is to go to the Commercial Travellers and Warehousemen's Association's Blinded Soldier and Sailors' No. 2 Fund. In the will of Percy Spencer, solicitor, of Auckland, who died on January 14, provision is made for a bequest of £50 to the British Israel Association, The estate was proved lor probate at not more than £25,000.,
