ANOTHER N.Z. CLUB
NEW CALEDONIA BUILDING (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. In addition to the large native-style club already in use at Bokrail, another club is being built for New Zealand Forces in New Caledonia. Near the sea, it will provide, besides other amenities, facilities for swimming and boating. A contribution of £5000 for the building was received last year from the Anzac Division of the British War Relief Society in U.S.A., and the gift will be acknowledged in the building by a suitably-inscribed plaque. Three separate buildings were prefabricated and forwarded from New Zealand. These are being merged into one on a site different from the one originally intended. The club will be called the Kiwi Club.
