ARMY STORES THEFT
TWO YEARS' PROBATION
Charged with the theft of a quantity of clothing and other equipment, valued at £35 3/, the property of the New Zealand- Army Department, Hector McVeigh, a soldier (Mr. Sullivan), was admitted to probation for a period of two years by Mr. W. C. Harley, S.M., in the Police Court this morning. He was ordered to make restitution. Accused had pleaded guilty to the charge, evidence in connection with which had been heard earlier in the week.
