Lieutenant-General Sir Thomas Eastwood, who, according to a British Official Wireless message, has been appointed Governor and Com-mander-in-Chief at Gibraltar. Lieu-tenant-General Eastwood was formerly Director-General of the Home Guard in Britain. He was in New Zealand before the Great War as A.D.C. to the Governor-General, the Earl of Liverpool.
