£58 STOLEN FROM SAFE

EXPERTS AGAIN AT WORK After forcing the front door at the branch shop of the Auckland Meat Company in Wellington Street last night, burglars entered and opened the safe to steal £58 in cash. So much gelignite was packed into the keyhole that it almost blew the safe to pieces. It is believed that the "job" was carried out about 4 o'clock this morning, and that the operators were skilled cracksmen.
