The Minister of Transport, Mr. O'Brien, left for the South to-day. Wing-Commander C. Rabone, of WellSkgton, is at the Station Hotel. Wing-Commander P. G. Jamieson, D.5.0., D.F.C. and bar, one of New Zealand's outstanding fighter pilots in Britain, has* been promoted to group-captain, states a London cable.
