PRESENTATION TO CAPTAIN The Waipapa Girl Guides held a parents' afternoon in the Mairangi hall when Mrs. Gardner, president, on behalf of the committee and guide members, made a presentation to Captain Bousie, who has resigned owing to pressure of duties. Captain Bousie has been in charge of tne company since its formation five years ago. . ... Mrs. Gardner spoke in appreciation of her many fine qualities as a leader, and Mrs. Boon, past-president, also spoke in commendation of Captain Bousie. Mrs. Youngs, who succeeds her, was welcomed.
