HOTELS RESTORED
IXVBRCARGIL.iI POLL, (P.A.) INVERCARGILL, this day. The official declaration of the final figures of the local option poll for the Invercargill electorate was made this morning. There is no change from the figures previously announced: Restoration 8590, No License 5651. Consequently Restoration was carried by a margin of 45 votes. The figures of the servicemen's voting are not being disclosed separately, though it is known the change was effected largely by servicemen overseas favouring restoration.
