TAXIDRIVERS' AWARD
FEWER HOURS, MORE PAY (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. The New Zea-nd Taxichivers' award, issued by the Arbitration Court, reduces the weekly hours from 60 to 50, with a minimum wage of £5, except in specific cases. The rates of remuneration have been increased in, accordance with the Court's first general order of August 9, 1940.
