NATIONAL BANK DIVIDEND

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The general manager of the National Bang of. New Zealand has received a cablegram from his London office statins that the board of directors has ordered the payment of an interim dividend of IV2 per cent (less United Kingdom income tax at 7/8 in the £) in respect of the year ending March 31. 1944. The rate is unchanged. Last year's final dividend was 2',2 per cent, making 4 per cent for the year.
